Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 base salary, Equity available

Company Description

Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed AI software company transforming how companies sell to government customers. Their platform simplifies and accelerates the process of identifying, pursuing, and winning government contracts across highly regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing.

Backed by top investors and already trusted by large enterprises, this team is building a category-defining product at the intersection of AI, enterprise software, and public-sector procurement. They are entering an exciting phase of growth, scaling customer deployments while expanding product capabilities and market reach.

What You Will Do

As a Deployment Strategist, you will own the end-to-end post-sale customer experience for a portfolio of high-impact enterprise accounts. You’ll sit at the center of customer success, product feedback, and revenue expansion—ensuring customers achieve meaningful outcomes and see immediate value from the platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead customer deployments from onboarding and training through long-term adoption, expansion, and renewal

  • Manage complex enterprise implementations across organizations of varying sizes, from fast-growing startups to large, distributed teams

  • Serve as the primary post-sale partner, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Identify and execute opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts

  • Track customer health metrics to drive retention, reduce churn, and support renewals

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to relay customer feedback and influence product direction

  • Travel periodically to support customer engagements and deepen relationships

This is a highly visible role with direct impact on revenue, product evolution, and customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Background

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, high-agency operator who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys owning outcomes.

You likely have:

  • 1–5 years of experience in deployment strategy, customer success, or enterprise implementation within a high-growth B2B SaaS company or a defense-focused consulting environment

  • Hands-on experience leading software deployments for enterprise customers

  • Familiarity with government contracting workflows, data, or procurement processes

  • A track record of driving customer expansion and long-term account growth

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building processes from the ground up

Preferred

  • Experience working with government contracting platforms or public-sector data

  • Exposure to defense, aerospace, or highly regulated industries

  • Previous experience at an early-stage startup or in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Willingness to travel 1–2 times per month for customer engagements

  • Competitive base salary: $120K–$180K, depending on experience
