Position Overview:Β
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Principal Deployment Strategist to lead our deployment efforts. As a Principal Deployment Strategist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of complex projects by conducting impact analysis, establishing best practices, providing technical expertise, and monitoring solution effectiveness. Your deep technical understanding of the supported platform and expertise in insurance functional domains will be essential in leading and managing deployments. Additionally, your ability to articulate solutions and benefits to enterprise insurance carriers' business and technology teams will drive the successful adoption of our platform.
As our Principal Deployment Strategist at Socotra, you will:
Conduct impact analysis to assess potential deployment impacts on existing systems and processes, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Establish and document best practices, policies, and procedures for deployment, continuously publishing content on platforms like Confluence and creating informative PowerPoint presentations.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members, sharing insights on deployment-related issues and challenges.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions, collecting feedback and making recommendations for continuous improvements.
Demonstrate a solid technical understanding of the supported platform, including complex insurance workflows through APIs, and effectively communicate this knowledge to technical and non-technical audiences.
Create and design complex functional workflows using tools like MIRO, Figma, or similar, ensuring a clear representation of project components.
Lead and manage implementation estimates independently and in collaboration with System Integration (SI) partners, accounting for project details, integrations, partnerships, and ISV interactions.
Showcase expertise in either the Life/Health or P&C insurance functional domain, including data schema, rating, reporting, end-to-end functionality, and integration points required.
Articulate, present, and provide solutions for enterprise insurance carriers' business and technology teams, addressing current issues and demonstrating the benefits of adopting the Socotra platform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience in deployment strategies, including impact analysis, best practices, and technical expertise.
Proficiency in using Confluence, PowerPoint, and other tools to document best practices, create informative presentations, and share knowledge.
Deep technical understanding of the supported platform, including the ability to explain complex insurance workflows through APIs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong ability to create and design complex functional workflows using tools like MIRO, Figma, or similar.
Proven experience in leading and managing implementation estimates, considering project details, integrations, partnerships, and ISV interactions.
Expertise in the Life/Health or P&C insurance functional domain, including data schema, rating, reporting, end-to-end functionality, and integration points.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate solutions and benefits to enterprise insurance carriers' business and technology teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to provide innovative solutions.
Ability to lead and mentor other team members, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
