Company Description

Our client is a cutting-edge, venture-backed organization building a new type of operating and investment platform. They acquire and partner with high-quality businesses and transform their operations using advanced AI systems and modern workflow automation.

This company blends the rigor of a top-tier investment firm with the innovation velocity of a world-class technology startup. With fresh funding and significant momentum, they are scaling rapidly and looking for entrepreneurial talent eager to help reinvent how real businesses operate from the inside out.

Joining this team means working directly with founders and leadership, embedding within real companies, and helping architect AI-driven solutions that unlock enormous value. If you’ve ever wanted the blend of zero-to-one building, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational impact, this is one of the rare roles that offers it.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of how portfolio companies create value, where constraints exist, and where the largest operational opportunities lie.

  • Map workflows end-to-end, identify bottlenecks, and surface high-impact redesign opportunities.

  • Translate business insights into clear technical and product requirements for engineers.

  • Collaborate closely with software teams to build and deploy AI agents, workflow systems, and automation tools.

  • Lead rollout, iteration, and adoption of new solutions—owning measurable outcomes across key workflows.

  • Build relationships across organizations, from executives to frontline teams, navigating complex business environments with ease.

  • Apply structured thinking, creativity, and resourcefulness to drive transformation across multiple industries.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical, product, operational, consulting, or investing role.

  • Experience in founder-led environments, early-stage startups, or fast-paced operating roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous business problems into structured approaches.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand how companies operate and create value.

  • Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related field.

  • Comfortable working in dynamic and occasionally undefined environments; thrives in zero-to-one building.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in forward-deployed roles, client-facing technical roles, or internal consulting.

  • Background in automation, AI-enabled workflows, or process redesign.

  • Familiarity working with engineers or technical teams to bring solutions from concept to deployment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to portfolio company sites (approximately every other week).
