In this role, you will serve as the critical link between advanced AI capabilities and real-world fraud prevention and compliance challenges faced by global financial institutions. You will work directly with clients in a highly embedded, hands-on capacity, translating complex operational problems into scalable, production-grade AI solutions. Operating in a remote-first and fast-paced environment, you will design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents that automate and enhance fraud detection workflows. This position blends client-facing consulting with deep technical engineering, requiring both strategic thinking and strong execution. You will own solutions end-to-end, from discovery and architecture to deployment and optimization. Accountabilities:
- Embed directly with clients to understand operational challenges and translate them into technical AI-driven solutions
- Design, architect, and deploy custom AI agents to detect fraud and automate complex compliance workflows
- Build production-ready machine learning and AI systems integrated into client environments
- Apply advanced prompt engineering, model evaluation, and optimization techniques to improve AI performance and reliability
- Define and maintain AI risk metrics, datasets, and evaluation frameworks to measure model impact
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scale AI solutions into robust production systems
- Act as a technical advisor, demonstrating the value of AI-driven interventions to clients and stakeholders
- Continuously refine and improve deployed models based on performance data and real-world feedback
- Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions from discovery through deployment and iteration
- Champion AI-first approaches across both internal teams and external engagements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or Machine Learning engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, model development, and system integration
- Experience building, deploying, or scaling AI/ML models in production environments
- Strong understanding of AI agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, or similar modern AI techniques
- Ability to translate ambiguous business or operational problems into technical solutions
- Proven experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a consulting or embedded role
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience in fraud detection, fintech, or compliance domains is a strong plus
