As our Forward Deployed Engineer – Digital Tools & AI, you'll play a key role in transforming business challenges into practical digital and AI-enabled solutions. 

Your impact? Working closely with business teams, you'll identify opportunities where technology can simplify processes, improve decision-making, and create measurable value. Rather than developing software at scale, you'll focus on understanding business needs, rapidly validating ideas, and delivering practical solutions that solve real business problems. 

You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, Engineering, Digital, Product, and Data teams, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery while helping shape the future of AI and digital enablement within Danfoss Climate Solutions. 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities where AI and digital tools can deliver measurable value. 
  • Design, prototype, and implement practical AI-enabled solutions and process improvements, rapidly validating ideas through proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives. 
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Digital, Product, and Data teams to evaluate technical feasibility and turn business challenges into scalable solution concepts. 
  • Assess business impact by defining success measures, gathering user feedback, and continuously improving delivered solutions based on real outcomes. 
  • Share best practices, reusable solution patterns, and technical learnings to support broader digital transformation and AI adoption. 

What We're Looking For

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in solution engineering, technical consulting, digital product delivery, automation, AI enablement, or a similar hands-on technical role. 
  • Experience working closely with business stakeholders and translating business challenges into practical digital or AI-enabled solutions. 
  • Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as APIs, SQL, Python, workflow automation, low-code/no-code platforms, AI agents, data platforms (e.g. Databricks) cloud platforms, or enterprise applications. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and quickly validate solution ideas. 
  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
