Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 base + equity + commission

Our client is a rapidly growing Series B AI startup building cutting-edge voice AI agents used by large enterprise organizations to automate real-world customer interactions. Their technology powers critical workflows for well-known companies across multiple industries, enabling scalable, intelligent, and human-like communication at scale.

With strong backing from top-tier investors and significant market traction, the company is in a high-growth phase and expanding quickly to meet increasing customer demand. This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving, high-impact team working on one of the most exciting applications of AI today.

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions tailored to enterprise customer needs

  • Work directly with customers to understand workflows, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into production-ready systems

  • Rapidly prototype solutions, ship quickly, and iterate based on real-world feedback

  • Integrate APIs, data systems, and AI models (including LLMs) into scalable applications

  • Own end-to-end delivery—from initial discovery and design to deployment and optimization

  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams on both client and internal sides

  • Manage relationships with 5–8 enterprise customers, acting as a trusted technical and strategic partner

  • Drive adoption, expansion, and long-term success of deployed solutions

  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support implementation and deepen partnerships

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 0–10 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, or similar roles

  • Proven ability to build and ship products or features from concept to production

  • Experience working with APIs, REST/JSON, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript

  • Exposure to AI/ML systems, automation tools, or LLM-based applications

  • Strong problem-solving ability and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and a strong drive to succeed

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance technical and business priorities

  • Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco and travel as needed

Preferred

  • Experience working at a startup or in highly autonomous environments

  • Prior experience building or deploying AI-powered products or automation systems

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, agent-based systems, or LLM integrations

  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity (e.g., solutions engineering, customer engineering)

  • Background as a founder or experience building side projects

  • Demonstrated achievements such as hackathons, open-source contributions, or entrepreneurial ventures
