Forward Deployed Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to diagnose issues in their AI-driven workflows and surface the root causes
• Provide hands-on guidance on integration patterns, implementation approaches, and configuration decisions
• Deeply understand how customers are using the product and translate those insights into actionable feedback for the engineering team
• Build lightweight sample apps, walkthroughs, and technical how-tos that help users adopt the platform with confidence
• Resolve complexities related to APIs, model behavior, token handling, error flows, and failover setups
  

Key Requirements

• Strong grasp of API mechanics, request/response flows, and web-based systems
• Ability to read and reason about code; familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is useful
• Experience working with LLM-based services (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and an understanding of their typical failure modes
• Comfortable digging through logs, deciphering error outputs, and mapping how data moves through a system
• Proficiency with tools used for testing and inspecting APIs — whether Postman, curl, or equivalents
