Salary: $140,000 – $210,000 base + competitive equity

What You Will Do

1. Lead Value Demonstrations & Deal Acceleration

  • Run technical discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and business goals.

  • Design and deliver tailored demos and proofs of value that clearly demonstrate measurable ROI.

  • Validate technical fit, address objections, and partner closely with Account Executives to drive complex deals forward.

2. Hands-On Technical Implementation

  • Own the implementation of technical solutions in real customer engineering environments.

  • Work across APIs, data pipelines, integration points, dashboards, and cloud services to solve high-priority customer challenges.

  • Iterate quickly with customer feedback to deliver solutions aligned to business outcomes.

3. Field Insights & Product Feedback

  • Identify recurring customer use cases, technical friction points, and areas for product improvement.

  • Share insights with product and engineering teams to help shape roadmap direction.

  • Build reusable demo environments, integration assets, and technical enablement materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 3–8 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, ideally within enterprise SaaS, developer tooling, analytics, data platforms, cloud, or DevOps.

  • Strong technical background with experience across APIs, full-stack engineering, integrations, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), dashboards, or developer tools.

  • Proven ability to lead complex enterprise technical evaluations and support multi-stakeholder decision cycles.

  • Strong discovery, presentation, and communication skills—able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

  • Passion for working with customers, understanding business needs, and contributing directly to revenue outcomes.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building demos, proofs of value, or technical prototypes for enterprise customers.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools, cloud security best practices, and modern DevOps workflows.

  • Exposure to large-scale data systems, engineering productivity platforms, or AI/ML-driven insights products.

  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Compensation, Benefits & Additional Details

  • Base Salary: $140,000 – $210,000

  • Equity: Competitive equity package

  • Work Model: Hybrid, with 3 required in-office days each week (San Mateo or NYC)
