Company Description

We’re representing a world-class technology organization that builds advanced data platforms powering critical operations for global industries — from national security to healthcare, energy, finance, and manufacturing.

The team you’d join focuses on manufacturing and supply chain transformation, helping major industrial partners modernize operations and unlock the value of their data through scalable software and AI-driven insights.

This is your opportunity to join a company where engineering directly influences real-world outcomes and drives innovation at scale.

What You Will Do

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of software, data, and operations—embedding directly with customers to design and deploy impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with customer stakeholders to define, architect, and implement data-driven systems.

  • Building production-quality applications, APIs, and data pipelines to support mission-critical decisions.

  • Integrating large-scale data sources and leveraging analytics and AI tools to solve operational challenges.

  • Working in small, agile teams that own projects end-to-end, from concept to deployment.

  • Traveling occasionally (up to 25%) to client sites to ensure solution success and adoption.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership engineering role where your work directly improves how global industries operate.

Ideal Candidate Background

We’re looking for engineers who thrive in dynamic, high-impact environments and enjoy bridging technical depth with real-world application.

You bring:

  • 1+ years of professional software engineering experience (post-college).

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science.

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages — Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.

  • Experience with data structures, cloud infrastructure, storage systems, or front-end frameworks.

  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and drive to continuously learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial analytics.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML systems, distributed data processing, or data visualization.

  • Prior client-facing or consulting experience.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $135,000 – $200,000 (based on experience and location)

  • Additional Compensation: RSUs, sign-on bonus, and performance incentives

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and flexible hybrid work

  • Work Model: Hybrid in Chicago or New York City, with occasional travel (up to ~25%)

Join a mission-driven engineering team where your code powers real-world impact — transforming how the world’s most critical industries operate.
