Salary: $135,000 – $200,000 base + equity + performance bonuses

You’ll be joining a Tier 1 immersive technology division within a high-impact team that includes product managers, researchers, UX designers, and 3D artists. This team focuses on building advanced mixed reality applications for critical industries—transforming how people interact with data in immersive environments.
Build end-user experiences in both 2D and mixed reality, contributing to the next generation of immersive tools.
Collaborate with engineers, UX designers, and external users to design intuitive, powerful solutions that operate across devices and platforms.
Translate real-world needs into functional and performant applications using modern technologies.
Develop production-ready software in languages such as C++, C#, Python, or Java, often using engines like Unity or similar platforms.
Contribute to strategic initiatives to scale and optimize performance, responsiveness, and deployment of immersive applications.
Participate in hands-on development, debugging, and feature iteration across the product lifecycle.
Occasionally travel to client sites as part of forward-deployed engagements.
2+ years of experience coding in at least one of the following: C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
Strong foundation in computer science, preferably with a degree from a top-tier university
Hands-on experience working with game engines or real-time graphics platforms such as Unity or Unreal
Track record of strong internships or full-time experience in software engineering, preferably in mission-driven or high-tech environments
Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers, researchers, and other engineers
Strong communication skills and ability to work with external stakeholders or end users
Familiarity with the defense or government sectors and how software solutions are deployed in such environments
Active U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
Understanding of physics engines or performance optimization for AR/VR applications
Experience working in fast-paced, impact-driven teams
Enthusiasm for building tools that make a difference in high-stakes, real-world situations
Base Salary: $135,000 – $200,000
Equity: Competitive equity package based on experience
Bonuses: Performance bonuses available up to $38,000+
Work Environment: Hybrid, with most of the team working onsite 3–4 days per week in Washington, D.C.
