We are seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join a fast-growing team building the future of APIs and developer tooling. This role blends engineering, product development, and deployment, giving you the opportunity to work directly with high-profile customers and shape AI-powered solutions. You will contribute to SDK development, create custom utilities, and help translate solutions across programming languages. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving high-impact technical problems, and is passionate about developer experience. You will also contribute to public-facing resources, including documentation and demos, helping expand the reach and usability of cutting-edge AI tools.

Accountabilities

• Work closely with critical customers to evolve SDKs and write custom utilities for advanced AI use cases.
• Build AI-powered tooling to configure SDKs and adapt solutions across multiple programming languages.
• Write high-quality code for internal projects (e.g., SDK Codegen) and external customer solutions (examples, demos).
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to public-facing documentation, tutorials, and developer resources.
• Provide support and guidance to customers, ensuring a seamless developer experience.

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, preferably including experience as a founding engineer or in a startup environment.
• Strong proficiency across multiple programming languages and comfort working in a polyglot environment.
• Hands-on experience using AI to generate code or enhance developer tooling.
• Passion for developer experience and deep empathy for users.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and self-motivate in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Demonstrated track record of building products, whether open-source projects, startups, or other initiatives.
• Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, or remotely within Pacific Time hours.
