Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 base + equity
Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed B2B SaaS company building next-generation revenue infrastructure for high-growth technology businesses. Backed by leading venture capital firms and executives from top AI and fintech companies, they are redefining how modern enterprises approach complex pricing models across usage-based, outcome-based, and hybrid revenue structures.
In just a short time, the company has secured significant enterprise customers and is scaling rapidly. With a strong engineering foundation already in place, the team is now investing heavily in customer-facing strategic talent to help drive implementation, adoption, and expansion.

As a Forward Deployed Strategist, you will operate at the intersection of product, strategy, and customer success. This is a highly hands-on role where you will own projects end-to-end and work directly with senior stakeholders at innovative AI and fintech companies.
You will:
Design and lead customer pilots, implementations, and onboarding programs
Own customer outcomes from initial deployment through expansion
Partner directly with Heads of Pricing, RevOps, Finance, and Product to solve complex revenue challenges
Translate business problems into scalable product configurations and workflows
Identify repeatable implementation patterns to improve speed-to-value
Surface insights from customer deployments to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
Drive strategic initiatives that convert customer feedback into measurable business impact
This is not a recommendation-only role — you will be responsible for execution, delivery, and measurable outcomes.
We are seeking high-ownership, analytically rigorous candidates who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
You likely have:
2–8 years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting (MBB or equivalent), OR a strategy/bizops role at a high-growth startup
AND/OR
2+ years in a BizOps, Strategy, or deployment-focused role at a VC-backed startup with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end initiatives
Experience working with enterprise SaaS customers
A track record of leading complex projects from problem definition through execution
Comfort working directly with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in San Francisco five days per week
You are energized by building systems from scratch, operating with autonomy, and taking full accountability for outcomes.
Experience with B2B pricing, revenue operations, or go-to-market systems
Exposure to AI-enabled products or technical implementations
Experience designing and running pilots or implementation programs
Background at high-growth fintech, SaaS, AI, or infrastructure companies
Experience in high-bar, fast-moving environments
Competitive base salary: $140,000 – $170,000
