Our client is an early-stage AI healthcare startup building automation systems to streamline clinic operations. Their platform leverages voice AI agents, browser automation, and LLM-powered workflows to handle complex administrative tasks like scheduling, referral processing, and insurance authorizations.

Founded by highly technical founders with deep research backgrounds, the company is already deployed in live clinical environments and rapidly growing with paying customers. They are focused on making AI systems actually work in real-world healthcare settings—bridging the gap between cutting-edge models and operational workflows.

What You Will Do

• Own technical delivery end-to-end for customer deployments
• Travel to clinics (50–70%) to understand workflows and operational pain points
• Translate real-world processes into structured systems powering AI agents
• Configure and deploy voice AI agents and automation pipelines
• Build and maintain integrations with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, etc.)
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during deployments
• Debug and resolve live production issues in real-time
• Work directly with founders to shape product and deployment strategy
• Build internal tools and playbooks to scale deployments across customers
• Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and usability

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer or forward deployed engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development
• Experience shipping LLM-powered features or AI systems in production
• Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
• Ability to debug and fix issues in live production environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with customers

Preferred

• Experience with voice AI agents or browser automation systems
• Experience integrating with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, HL7, FHIR)
• Prior startup experience (Seed to Series B)
• Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or regulated environments
• Customer-facing engineering experience
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate with ambiguity
