About the Role

As a Sr. Forward Deployment Strategist (FDS), you’ll work directly with our customers to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that solve their most critical challenges. You’ll own the execution of customer trials and proof-of-concepts (PoCs), acting as the bridge between our customers and our engineering teams.

Your job is to deeply understand the customer’s mission, configure our software to fit their needs, run operational trials, and bring learnings back to engineering. You won’t just gather feedback—you’ll synthesize it into actionable insights to drive product evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute customer proof-of-concept programs tailored to each organization's unique challenges and success criteria

  • Lead customer trials from inception through evaluation, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics are established upfront

  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with trial participants to capture both quantitative results and qualitative insights

  • Document customer pain points, feature requests, and usability concerns in detail for engineering teams

  • Translate customer business language into technical requirements that engineering teams can act upon. 

  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to implement customer feedback rapidly and requested modifications.

  • Work with product teams to prioritize customer-driven enhancements and feature developments.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure customer expectations are properly set and managed throughout trials.

  • Present trial results and customer insights to internal stakeholders to influence product roadmap decisions.



Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Ex-military officer with hands-on experience of SAR and EO exploitation software

  • 2–5 years of experience in product deployment, solution engineering, or strategy roles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and ownership

  • Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise software, system integration, or analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Familiarity with agile feedback loops, user testing, or field ops methodology.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites (nationally/internationally) as needed.
