Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

The Role

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Product Designer to work on-site with our customers to help them revolutionize how they design and build enterprise software. You'll work on-site with customers 3 days per week, creating production-ready designs, prototyping new workflows using Blitzy, and partnering shoulder-to-shoulder with their design, product and engineering teams to deliver transformative user experiences.

You'll translate complex enterprise requirements into intuitive interfaces and participate in sprint planning and design reviews. Success means rapidly prototyping use cases,, and becoming a trusted advisor to product leaders through hands-on design expertise.

This role requires fluency in modern design tools (Figma), understanding of enterprise software workflows, AI/LLM tools and prompting, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships. You'll influence product direction through field insights and help evangelize Blitzy across the enterprise to shape the future of AI-powered software development.

What You'll Contribute To

  • Embed with customer teams during critical implementations, serving as their design co-pilot
  • Participate in customer sprint planning, design reviews, and guide design decision-making

  • Work through edge cases, error states, and the full spectrum of user scenarios
  • Maintain consistency across product surfaces and document design decisions

Design Execution

  • Work closely with the Founding Designer to learn how to design specifically for autonomous code generation - knowing what to specify in detail, what to leave to the platform, and how to structure handoff so execution quality stays high
  • Create clear, Blitzy-ready design specs
  • Evangelize the Blitzy platform across the enterprise and train design teams on how to best leverage the platform

What You Bring

  • Ability to work at speed without sacrificing quality

Preferred

  • Degree in Design, HCI, or related fields
  • Exposure to AI/ML products or developer tools (Good to have, but not must)
