About the Role
This is a fully remote, customer-facing engineering role working directly with enterprise clients to deploy, integrate, and operationalize AI systems in real-world production environments. You will be the third Forward Deployed Engineer globally, covering the East Coast US or Europe and working with 3-4 customers concurrently.
What You'll Own
- Deploy and operationalize AI systems directly within enterprise customer environments
- Design and implement integrations across enterprise AI workflows, APIs, infrastructure, and governance systems
- Debug and troubleshoot complex deployment and integration challenges
- Act as the technical bridge between customers and internal product and engineering teams
- Partner with customer stakeholders across engineering, security, risk, compliance, and operations
Requirements
- 3–8 years of post-undergraduate professional experience
- Strong software engineering experience in distributed systems, Kubernetes, APIs, platform engineering, and enterprise integrations
- Infra engineer or DevOps background from a startup, large solutions company, or consulting firm
- Customer-facing deployment experience required
- Strong scripting fluency; able to read, understand, and write clean code
- Comfortable with East Coast US or UK timezones
- Available for occasional evening calls twice per week for India team collaboration
Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree or beyond in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Generative AI, LLM applications, AI infrastructure, or model deployment
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, government, or other regulated industries
- Prior FDE, Solutions Engineering, or Implementation Engineering at a high-growth AI startup
