Clarion is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customers. You’ll write production code, own customer implementations, and ensure AI agents work reliably in real-world healthcare environments.
Build and ship production code for integrations, workflows, and AI agent configuration
Own customer implementations from scoping through go-live
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers
Debug and optimize AI agents in production
Translate customer feedback into product and engineering requirements
3+ years of professional engineering experience
Strong coding ability; hands-on engineering role
Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity
Comfortable owning ambiguous, multi-workstream projects
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Solutions or implementation engineering background
Startup or early-stage experience
Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based products
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
Customer obsession and technical ownership
Bias toward action and real-world impact
Comfortable staying “in the weeds” to make things work
Thrives in a high-intensity, in-person environment
Base salary: $150,000–$225,000
Equity: Meaningful early-stage equity
