Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, highly-driven Forward Deployed Engineering Manager to build and lead a new team that directly engages with our customers. This individual will not only manage but actively construct and optimize the team's operational processes from the ground up, ensuring successful delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Your Impact

• Demonstrated experience managing and leading forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering or sales engineering teams.

• Proven track record in building teams from scratch, including hiring, onboarding, and training.

• Strong experience developing and implementing effective operational processes and metrics to drive team success.

• Solid engineering background; familiarity with software development lifecycle, technical problem-solving, and customer integrations.

• Professional background in the AI industry, demonstrating familiarity with current technologies, trends, and challenges.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

• High degree of confidence and agency, capable of independently driving initiatives and owning outcomes.

What You Bring

• Prior experience in the human data industry (e.g., data annotation, crowdsourcing, or human-in-the-loop AI operations) is highly desirable and considered a strong bonus.

• Experience managing geographically dispersed or globally distributed teams.

• Passion for AI and the intersection of technology, product, and customer needs.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Exceptional communication skills: ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

As part of the Alignerr Services team, you'll lead implementation of customer projects and manage our elite network of AI experts who deliver high-quality human feedback crucial for AI advancement. Your team will oversee 250,000+ monthly hours of specialized work across RLHF, complex reasoning, and multimodal AI projects, resulting in quality improvements for Frontier AI Labs. You'll leverage our AI-powered talent acquisition system and exclusive access to 16M+ specialized professionals to rapidly build and deploy expert teams that help customers like Google and ElevenLabs achieve breakthrough AI capabilities through precisely aligned human data—directly contributing to the critical human element in advancing artificial intelligence.
