Our client is building an AI-powered platform that enables hedge funds and asset managers to become AI-native by transforming how investment research, portfolio management, and risk workflows are executed.
The platform is already deployed across leading institutional investment firms and is used to automate and enhance core workflows such as equity research, risk monitoring, and portfolio analysis.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling AI infrastructure company at the ground floor of its client-facing, forward-deployed team, working directly with some of the most sophisticated investment organizations in the world.
What You Will Do
- Embed directly with hedge fund and asset management clients on-site
- Deeply understand equity research, portfolio management, and risk workflows
- Translate real-world investment processes into AI-powered workflows and systems
- Build and deploy production-grade AI agents, connectors, and automation workflows
- Work closely with engineering to convert client needs into scalable platform features
- Act as a direct feedback loop between investment professionals and product teams
- Build reusable “investment workflow playbooks” across clients
- Use live financial data environments to design and refine AI systems
- Identify high-leverage opportunities to automate and enhance research workflows
- Partner with senior investors and PMs to improve decision-making processes using AI
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3–7 years of experience in equity research, hedge funds, or asset management

Experience in:
- Fundamental equity research (buy-side or sell-side preferred)
- Quant research, portfolio management, or risk (bonus)

Hands-on experience with financial data platforms:
- Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ, Visible Alpha, PitchBook, or similar
- Exposure to AI tools or applied AI workflows (agents, automation, or side projects strongly preferred)
- Strong Python / SQL or data manipulation skills
- Experience working directly with portfolio managers or senior investment professionals
- Comfortable operating in unstructured, client-facing environments
Preferred / Strong Signals
- Experience at hedge funds, asset managers, or institutional research teams
- Background in multi-strategy or systematic investment workflows
- Hands-on experience building AI tools for research or financial workflows
- Exposure to workflow automation or internal tooling in finance environments
- Experience working in high-trust, client-embedded roles

- Deep equity research or investment decision-making experience
- Proven ability to build or experiment with AI agents or automation systems
- Strong technical fluency in AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, etc.)

- Strong communication and trust-building skills in client-facing settings
- Experience building 0→1 systems in finance or data-heavy environments
