Forward Deployed Architect

Our client is an AI transformation consultancy delivering enterprise-scale agentic AI solutions across APAC.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role focused on designing and delivering production-grade agentic AI systems for large enterprise clients, including organizations in banking, insurance, telecommunications, retail, and other regulated industries.

You will act as the technical authority across client engagements, owning the architecture from solution definition through to production deployment. The role requires deep experience across agentic AI, AWS architecture, enterprise integrations, governance, security, and delivery execution.


Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture for enterprise agentic AI engagements.
• Design scalable multi-agent systems on AWS, including orchestration, routing, memory, retrieval, observability, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows for regulated enterprise environments.
• Define governance models, review checkpoints, explainability mechanisms, and operational controls.
• Work with AWS Bedrock, Agent Core, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, containerisation, serverless architecture, AI model providers, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation tooling.
• Design integrations with enterprise systems, including APIs, identity platforms, legacy systems, hybrid environments, and regulated infrastructure.
• Define testing, evaluation, drift detection, monitoring, and production reliability standards.
• Review engineering output to ensure quality, scalability, security, and operational reliability.
• Produce architecture decision records, technical designs, governance documentation, and reusable design patterns.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution-definition sessions with enterprise stakeholders.
• Support estimation, sprint planning, delivery governance, and technical delivery oversight.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' experience across software engineering, AI/ML systems, cloud architecture, or enterprise technology delivery.
• 3–5+ years' hands-on experience designing and deploying production AI or agentic AI systems.
• Strong AWS architecture experience, ideally including Bedrock, Agent Core, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, containers, serverless, observability, and security services.
• Strong understanding of multi-agent orchestration, RAG, prompt engineering, tool integration, MCP server patterns, evaluation frameworks, and agentic AI failure modes.
• Experience integrating AI systems into complex enterprise environments with strict security, governance, identity, networking, and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, event-driven systems, IAM, VPC architecture, PrivateLink, identity federation, access controls, and data governance.
• Experience working with BFSI, telecommunications, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of AI security risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, access control, secrets management, encryption, and auditability.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs, AI limitations, governance controls, and operational risks to senior enterprise stakeholders.
• Strong technical leadership experience across engineering teams, delivery execution, and technical governance.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate
