Revive Recruitment is partnering with a well-funded, mission-driven technology company building cutting-edge software, AI and mixed-reality systems for industrial and defense environments. Having secured over $70M in funding and grown rapidly since launch, they're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers in the field, helping solve real-world operational challenges where hardware, software and AI intersect.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with industrial, government and defense customers to deploy, troubleshoot and optimise software solutions in real-world environments.

• Travel to customer sites, gather feedback and translate operational challenges into product improvements.

• Debug complex technical issues across software, networking, hardware and infrastructure.

• Act as the bridge between customers and engineering teams, ensuring field learnings directly influence product development.

• Build and ship production-quality software while working in highly dynamic and mission-critical environments.

• Help shape the future direction of products by identifying new use cases and customer requirements.

What You'll Have

• 3-5 years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Software Engineering or similar customer-facing technical roles.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in languages such as Python, Rust, C or similar.

• Experience working with Linux, networking, hardware-software integrations or distributed systems.

• A passion for solving problems where software interacts with the physical world.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with customers in challenging environments.

• A proactive, resourceful mindset and the ability to thrive with ambiguity.
