Forward Deployed Engineer

San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) 

$150,000 - $250,000 + Equity

Revive Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing, venture-backed AI startup that is transforming how critical industries operate through AI-powered automation. Having achieved exceptional early traction and significant revenue growth in under 12 months, they're now looking for their first dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer to help scale customer deployments and shape the future of the business.

What You'll Do

• Own customer deployments end-to-end, taking clients from initial onboarding through to successful production rollout.

• Act as the bridge between customers and engineering, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver measurable value.

• Configure and optimise AI agents and automation workflows to solve complex operational challenges.

• Lead customer workshops, onboarding sessions, training and deployment reviews.

• Build tooling and processes that make future implementations faster and more scalable.

• Work directly with founders and early team members to shape how the company scales its customer success and deployment function.

What You'll Have

• 3-7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer or Technical Consultant.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deployments simultaneously.

• Experience working closely with customers in fast-paced startup environments.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, agents or workflow automation.

• Technical fluency with Python, TypeScript, APIs and data integrations.

• A builder mentality with a genuine passion for solving real-world operational problems.
