Forward Deployed Engineer

What You'll Do

• Own the technical delivery of enterprise customer deployments from initial scoping through to production go-live and ongoing support

• Work directly with enterprise finance teams to understand complex workflows, banking data flows and integration requirements

• Configure and deploy solutions involving banking data, ACH payments, cheque processing and ERP integrations

• Partner closely with deployment and customer success teams to deliver successful implementations

• Troubleshoot data, integration and system issues, working alongside engineering teams to resolve challenges quickly

• Translate customer business requirements into clear technical solutions and engineering priorities

• Influence product development by identifying recurring customer pain points and recommending scalable solutions

• Build relationships with technical stakeholders, including banking and third-party IT teams

• Support customers through validation, testing and production rollout activities

What You'll Have

• 3-5 years' experience as a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role

• Strong software engineering background with experience delivering production code to external customers

• Experience owning post-sale technical implementations, integrations or deployment projects

• Strong skills in TypeScript and/or Python

• Exposure to AI, machine learning or LLM-powered products

• Experience working with APIs, data integrations, ERP systems, banking data or financial platforms

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• A degree in a technical discipline or equivalent commercial experience

• Experience within FinTech, financial services or payments environments would be advantageous

Location & Working Pattern

• San Francisco: 5 days per week onsite

• New York: 4 days onsite with Fridays remote
